Experiential Simulation (ES) is a process that immerses participants in an online environment in which others perceive them to have an identity unlike their “true” one. Working through group decision-making tasks, masked participants are asked to examine and reflect upon their own and others’ assumptions about power (conceptions and enactments) and identity (constructions and stereotypes) and their impact on leadership.
